ManiFit ("we," "us," or "our") provides a fitness coaching platform through our mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and a unique account identifier, created when you sign up with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You can also continue as a guest, which does not require a name or email.
• Fitness data — workouts you create, save, or are assigned by a coach/trainer, workout session history, and optional profile stats you choose to provide (height, weight, birthday).
• Coach/aspirant (trainer/client) relationship data — if you link with a coach, your coach can see the profile and workout information relevant to coaching you; if you are a coach, your linked aspirants' relevant fitness data is visible to you.
• Usage and device information — basic diagnostic and crash data to keep the Service reliable.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and provide the core Service.
• To let you save, follow, and track workouts.
• To connect you with a coach (or your aspirants, if you are a coach) and enable workout assignment.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Who We Share Data With

• Your linked coach or aspirants — as described in Section 1, limited to what's needed for coaching.
• Service providers — Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, database, and hosting).
• We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not share it with any other third party except as described here or with your consent.

Any third party we share data with is required to protect it to a standard consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and fitness data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below; we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Your Choices

• You can edit or clear your profile stats (name, weight, height, birthday) at any time in the app.
• You can unlink from a coach at any time.
• You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by contacting us.
• You can sign out or delete your account from within the app.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules that restrict each account to its own data) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated in the app.
